Why I Joined Lemongrass Spa
So, how did I end up at Lemongrass Spa? The story starts a number of years before I had ever heard of Lemongrass Spa! My youngest daughter suffers from asthma and eczema so we began looking for more natural cleaning products to use in our home to keep the 'attacks' to a minimum. I started purchasing from a 'wholesome' company and we did notice some improvements. Come to find out, the products weren't as 'clean' as I had been led to believe.
About the same time, I also started learning about the hidden toxins and harmful ingredients in all of our personal care products. (Don't believe me? Go to the FDA website and you'll see that they readily admit they don't police companies on the ingredients that are put into products! 😮) I became what you could call an 'Ingredient Detective'! 🕵️♀️ It was HARD work! AND the products that didn't contain all the JUNK was more than my pocketbook could handle.
Fast forward a few years to where a friend introduced me to this amazing company! It was started in the founder's basement when she was pregnant and wanted safer choices for their skin and body care products. That was over 20 years ago and she has never strayed from her mission. In fact, our products are cleaner and safer now than they were when I joined 6 years ago!!!
After chatting with my friend over lunch that day, I KNEW that this was a company with a mission that I could stand behind and products that I could trust. I signed up without ever having tried the first product and I don't regret the decision for one second! It's amazing at how much better my skin looks and feels now that I'm using products that only contain nature's ingredients and my pocketbook isn't left gasping for air either!!
