Casa Aleluya Para Niños

Casa Aleluya Para Niños (House of Praise for Children) is a children’s home in San Bartolome Milpas Atlas in Guatemala. The children that live there have been placed by the courts and most have traumatic backgrounds. Right now about 150 kids are living at Casa Aleluya. Staff includes dorm parents, long term missionaries, office workers, medical staff, social workers and psychologists. On campus there is a school and medical clinic.

Casa Aleluya was started in 1989 by Mike and Dotti Clark, affectionately called Papi and Mami. They moved from their home in Louisiana to Guatemala with their children to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the suffering children of Guatemala. During our time at Casa Aleluya we will be leading a discipleship class for the teens & young adults. Many of these have lived at Casa Aleluya their whole life and have faced tremendous hardships, and our goal is to provide them with care, support, hope and a deep relationship with Jesus.

In addition to working with the children, we will be continuing the marriage class that we started in 2025, focusing on strengthening the marriages of the dorm parents and married staff who dedicate their lives to caring for these children.

We are seeking to raise $2000 for the activities we want to provide at Casa Aleluya. The funds will be to provide dorm activities, class materials and celebration dinners at the end of each class.

Village Outreach

In addtion to serving at Casa Aleluya, we will also be staying at Ministerio Senderos De Luz (Paths of Light Ministry). We will be serving one day in one of the local villages. We could use your help to provide the supplies needed for this day of opportunity to help families in need and share the gospel with them. We hope to install 20 water filters along with food and Bibles for a total of $1500. Last year we visited several homes, were able to pray with widows, the sick & share the hope of Jesus. Several prayed to accept the gift of salvation and were connected to a church in their area.

We are currently accepting applications to join the Spring Break Team for 2027. Deposits are due by October 1st to secure a spot on the team. The cost for each team member is $2000 to cover flights, transportation, lodging and food. Please consider joining the team or sponsoring a team member!

Jeremy, Amy and their family have been serving at Casa Aleluya since 2015. They currently have 5 kids that they sponsor there and two that are young adults that have moved off campus that they still love & support.
