On a Personal Note...
💜 Life Lately
Phew! September was BUSY! 😂 Honestly, I’m pretty happy to be at my last fair for a little while. I love what I do, but after this many days on the road, I’m ready to be HOME!
We started with the Watermelon Roundup in Plains, followed by the West Texas Fair & Rodeo in Abilene. Somewhere in there, I also bought a “new” car! My old Pilot has 310,000 miles, and I really didn’t want something different—so I bought basically the same Pilot, only one year newer, with just 49,000 miles! 😂 I bought it on eBay and had it shipped from Florida. It was supposed to arrive before Abilene, but the transport truck broke down, so old faithful had to make one more fair trip. Thankfully, she did!
After Abilene, we rushed home, unpacked, repacked, and headed to South Padre to celebrate our 28th anniversary! 🏖️💜 It’s become our annual tradition and was a very welcome break in the middle of fair season.
Then home for an 18th-century ball for Sarah’s birthday 💃, followed by the Lubbock Fair, ONE day at home, and then off to Roswell for the last fair of this stretch.
It’s been a fun month full of travel, celebrations, friends, and customers—but I’m definitely ready for a little time at home! 🏡💜
