Vendor Agreement:
The following agreement is in the Vendor Application Form - we are providing it to you here for easier review.
I hereby agree that, having sought permission to participate in the 2024 Shift Tennessee event, sponsored by the Shift Tennessee committee (hereinafter “STC”), and in consideration of being allowed to participate, do hereby understand and agree as follows:
1. I fully understand that STC expects high standards of moral and ethical behavior, and I agree to strictly adhere to such standards and to see to it that my helpers (if any) adhere to such standards.
2. I agree that I and my helpers (if any) will not attempt to perform any services at Shift Tennessee which we are not fully qualified, licensed, and capable to perform both physically and according to our training and education.
3. I fully understand that STC does not screen any participants, vendors, customers, or visitors in such Shift Tennessee, and I proceed at my own risk, assuming all risks involved or associated with such Shift Tennessee and I also agree that I proceed at my own risk and do assume risks involved or associated with the goods I sell or give away, the services I provide, the assistance I give, and/or the work I perform.
4. I agree to accept full personal responsibility for the consequences of my action and/or inaction associated with such Shift Tennessee as well as the actions or inactions of my helpers (if any). I fully understand and do hereby release, discharge and agree to indemnify and hold harmless STC and New Hope Brethren Church, its employees, representatives, agents and volunteers, against any and all liability and loss for damages suffered by me, my helpers, and/or any third party including property damage, personal injury and/or illness, which are caused by or in any way related to or arising out of my action or inaction, or the action or inaction of my helpers (if any) as a participant in such Shift Tennessee.
5. Because of the nature of this Shift Tennessee event and the emphasis on healthy lifestyles and low-tox living as supported by Young Living Essential Oils and STC , I understand that no products will be allowed for display or sale that contain artificial or synthetic fragrances or harsh chemicals. I also understand that no competing companies or brands offering similar or alternative products or services to those offered by Young Living (essential oils, or essential oil-infused supplements or products), nor recruitment for any such competing company or brand, will be allowed. I agree to not bring any such products for sale at the event and to avoid recruitment at the event or based on any contacts made exclusively at the event. If I am unsure if my products meet this requirement, I agree to submit them for review by STC for approval prior to bringing the products to the event.
