Thanks for visiting! Here's little more about us…
Jeremy & Amy have been married 25 years. They met at Northeastern State University back in 1997! They have 4 kids: Jonah, Judah, Joanna & Joy. Jonah & Judah recently got married and we are excited to add Sarah & Addy to our family! One of our favorite things to do as a family is roadtrips! Our goal is to visit all of the National Parks, so far we have hit 40!
We are active in our local church, Evergreen Church since 2009. We have served in many areas from babies to college students to teaching in our adult sunday school class. We are currently team leaders to Guatemala.
Amy has been attending Bible Study Fellowship since 2010. She currently serves as a Children's Leader with 12-18 month olds at the Asbury location. BSF has been a tremendous part of her growth in the Word.
Jeremy & Amy have owned their real estate investment company since 2005. Jeremy has been growing the business by building a full portfolio of rental properties in several Oklahoma counties. He's always looking for house buying opportunities in any condtion!
We are involved in the local childhood cancer community, because we have 2 survivors! Our oldest son, Jonah, fought Osteosarcoma in 2006-2007. He endured a year of intense chemo and had to have his leg amputated. It doesn't slow him down! He's now an adult, in college studying business. Soon after he finished treatment, Amy started working for a non-profit organization called Oklahoma Family Network, building a support network for childhood cancer families. While doing hospital visitation, she met our daughter, Joy, right after she was diagosed with Leukemia in 2013. We began fostering her, adopted in 2014 and she finished treatment in 2015. She has also been diagnosed with autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities & childhood trauma. It has been challenging but she brings joy to everyone around her.
We have been helping provide parent to parent support for families since 2007. Currently, Amy volunteers for Gold4Kids Cancer Foundation of Tulsa, helping plan events for local families.
Our family has been volunteering in Guatemala at Casa Aleluya Para Niños since 2015 doing everything from construction to subbing as dorm parents. We have 7 kids that we have sponsored, two of which are now adults and live off campus. It has been such a blessing to build relationships with these children. Everytime we leave, we can't wait to return. Casa Aleluya is a great opportunity to sponsor a child and truly help change their lives by providing daily care, school and the gospel. Jeremy's family has a long time legacy with Boy Scouts of America. Jeremy, Jonah, Judah and Joanna are all Eagle Scouts. Joy is currently in a local scout troop. Joanna will be staffing as senior patrol leader at National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT), this summer. Jeremy served as scout master for several years while the boys were scouting and continues to work closely with the troop as his nephews work toward their Eagle ranks.
One of Amy's favorite hobbies is crochet. She recently got involved with Crochet Tulsa, the Oklahoma Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America. Through this organization there are opportunities to bless those in our community with blankets or other crocheted gifts, such as schools, retirement homes, the children's hospital, Ronald McDonald House and pregnancy centers. She also hosts her own Crochet Club for family & friends.
Another favorite hobby for Amy is playing American Mahjong. She plays with several groups in our community and has begun teaching classes. If you would like to learn how to play Mahjong and get connected with players in the Tulsa area click the Mahjong image.
