Welcome! If you've stumbled upon this page but you're not interested in suppositories, you might want to hit the back arrow now!
However, if you're looking for information about how to make suppositories, you're in the right place!
While some may find inserting something into their body through the rectum or vagina, uncomfortable, it's
really not that bad and suppositories offer a targeted faster-acting form of delivery with effective benefits.
Suppositories are a targeted delivery method that bypass the stomach to offer a more efficient and effective way to deliver bioavailable nutrients or medication directly into the bloodstream with maximum absorption.
While some may find it off-putting to insert them into the rectum or vagina, suppositories can provide practical benefits when oral administration is not feasible or effective. They offer faster-acting delivery and are particularly useful for individuals who have difficulty digesting capsule or liquid supplements.
HOW SUPPOSITORIES WORK
The suppository dissolves or melts at body temperature, gradually spreads over the lining of the vaginal cavity or the lower bowel (rectum), where it is absorbed into the bloodstream within 15 minutes to 1 hour. It is best to use either while taking a nap or at bed time.
WHY USE ESSENTIAL OILS IN YOUR SUPPOSITORIES
First, Essential Oils are not new, they date back to 3500 BC and used in many different cultures. Premium essential oils are high in antioxidants and can be added to beverages and foods to support every system in your body. They can also be taken in capsule form to support a healthy immune system and overall wellness. Additionally, they are adaptogenic and can be used rectally or vaginally to deliver nutrients directly to your cells.
WHY USE YOUNG LIVING PREMIUM ESSENTIAL OILS
For your safety, we will only be talking about using Young Living Premium Essential oils YLPEO and specially the Vitality/Plus line. Per the FTC Young Living offers two types of oil, one is for internal use and dietary supplement (vitality) and the other is used for topical and aromatic. Both oils are exactly the same YLPEO although the FTA has asked us to change the color of the label for the Vitality line and they also only come in a 5ml size.
If you're new to essential oils it is imperative that you know the difference, this information is only referring to using YLPEO as we can use them many ways but also vaginal and rectal.
YLPEO are the world leader for over 26 years with the largest 100% unadulterated Premium oil production. With 26 Seed to Seal farms, shipping to 100 countries in 6 different continents.
We are dedicated to our farms and our families with over 29 years of experience of sustainably harvesting essential oils with premium quality, giving our company and our families a gift from our earth. We start with premium non-GMO seeds and know how to cultivate, when to harvest and distill plants, and at what time of year, month, day, and specific time of day. Each essential oil goes through 15 to 20 different tests in triplicate by YL and verified via 3rd party testing. This is far above any aromatherapy, organic and FDA standards.
HOW TO MAKE SUPPOSITORIES
This video will explain the different ways that you can make suppositories in comfort of your own home.
The easiest method is with a reusable suppository mold, but if you are in a pickle and need a suppository now, you can use a urinary catheter, smoothie straw, old fashioned wooden spoon, saran wrap and foil. This video will show you how to make all of them.

SUPPOSITORY DIRECTIONS
Use cold pressed unrefined organic coconut oil and Young Living Premium Essential Oils (for internal use) to make rectal or vaginal suppositories. The coconut acts as a solid delivery agent and keeps the oils from burning and keeps in a solid state until you insert them.
DIRECTIONS
1. Use 10-15 drops of YLPEO and mix with coconut oil
(Do not boil or heat coconut oil before you put in mold)
2. Freeze upright for 20 minutes
3. Remove suppository from the freezer
4. Push suppository through mold or straw, put extra suppositories in a ziplock
in the freezer.
5. Insert suppository as far in as possible and lay down
(best to use when napping or at bedtimes)
6. If the area gets too hot, use a plain vegetable oil like; coconut or olive oil or
YL; V6 Oil or Animal Scents Ointment.
Warning:
It is not recommended to mix any type of petroleum-based or synthetic products (i.e. KY, monistat, condoms etc.) Use organic cotton tampons or pads if needed when using YLPEO.
